Well, last week I was 3 for 4. Those Chiefs of mine didn't pull through. I won't lie, I had a feeling that they wouldn't, but I in no way could pick against them. That's just bad karma. This weekend is the divisional weekend play. I love football and I hope that I get these picks right, so that I can be proud of my football knowledge. So this weekend, I like: The Ravens over the Colts. (If the Chiefs' D can slow down Peyton Manning, then the Ravens sure can stop him) The Eagles over the Saints. (The Eagles are hot and feeling great, the Saints are everyone's emotional pick, but they are only 10-6 or hopefully 10-7 after this weekend.) The Seahawks over the Bears. (The Bears, especially Rex Grossman haven't done well lately. I think it will haunt them, with their starting QB still having to compete for his job in week 19.) The Patriots over the Chargers. (The Chargers are good, but so are the Patriots. Phillip Rivers hasn't been that excellent in recent weeks. If the Patriots can slow down LJ and force the Chargers to pass, then the Patriots should have a good chance at this one.) Also, I will say that I am still picking the Seahawks vs. the Patriots in the Superbowl...we'll see if it can come true. ~dan |
